Request a Career Day Speaker

Austin Energy has many careers that students can learn about at your school's Career Fair or Career Day events. Our employees are happy to speak with students at schools within the Austin Energy service area. We also can provide you with a video of an Austin Energy employee talking about their respective career instead of an in-person presentation.

Students can learn about skills, tools, and requirements needed for careers in:

• Electric service technologies and field operations
• Customer service
• Administrative support
• Marketing and advertising
• Engineering
• Business processes
• Energy efficiency
• Internet technology
• And many more

Our presenters can participate in a panel, staff a table or booth, speak with students in a classroom environment, or provide a video to view online.

Teachers and educators can request an Austin Energy employee to appear at your Career Fair event. Please complete and submit the following request form no later than one month in advance of your school's event. A representative will review your request and will contact you to confirm.
